Mike's DIVERSE in Linux Page

Introduction:

During my time at the CAVE, and going through many, many installs of DIVERSE, and helping others to install DIVERSE, I have realized that there just really isn't a good place to go for all your DIVERSE needs. Much of the information can be picked out of the various install files and web pages. However, these are scattered about, and do not necessarily provide information about how to configure your machine prior to DIVERSE installation, including issues with Performer, OpenGL, etc, that are encountered when installing DIVERSE in linux.

Of course, for me, the problem may be solved as easily as walking into one of the developers offices, and asking them something. However, most users do not have that luxury. So, I'm gathering together user level resources to help with installing and using DIVERSE in a Linux environment.
